Dr. Aylin Falkenberg

Aylin Falkenberg, as a research associate in the Department of Physics and its Didactics, is investigating the potential of artificial intelligence in higher education within the context of the GAIA Project. Many established teaching methods no longer adequately meet the needs of an increasingly diverse student body, leading to inefficient learning processes and, in some cases, high dropout rates. One approach to addressing these challenges is the integration of AI-based, student-centered learning assistance into teaching. As research in this field is still in its early stages, it is essential to explore the application of such AI-supported systems in education and to investigate their effectiveness.
