FG Gender Membership

To our participants in German-speaking countries, we recommend becoming a member of the German Gender Studies Association FG Gender. The German Gender Studies Association has about 500 members and thus represents an important multi-perspective and multidimensional scientific network of Gender Studies in the German-speaking area. Through annual conferences and a regular exchange of information, the specialist society facilitates an inter- and transdisciplinary dialogue among gender, queer and intersectionality researchers. Through the focus of its professional policy, the Association strives to anchor gender studies in research and teaching. Through a broad-based public relations work and the Open Gender Journal, which permits the simplest possible publication of quality-assured scientific contributions, the specialist society contributes to the visibility of Gender Studies.
