IVAC - International Virtual Academic Collaboration
Within the framework of the DAAD special call for proposals IVAC (International Virtual Academic Collaboration), the project "Change of Perspective - Globale Leraning: Intercultural Experiences and Interdisciplinary Diversity" of the University of Göttingen was funded from September 2020 to October 2021. Since September 2021, there are two new projects being funded within IVAC: "Fostering Global Telecollaborative Competences in Student Teacher Training" and "Forest Management Planing for the Tropics".

- Virtual Supply Chain Management Teaching in Germany and Italy (VISTA)
- Global Shakespeare 2.0
- Transatlantische Virtuelle Akademische Kooperation
- Fokus Balkan Online
have been developed and implemented together with 7 international partner universities from 6 countries as Virtual Exchange (VE) scenarios. The aim ist to integrate the digital courses into the curriculum of the University of Göttingen.

Forest Management Planning for the Tropics

As part of the DAAD IVAC programme, the project "Forest Management Planning for the Tropics" has been approved for the funding period 2021 - 2022. The projects strives to enable international forestry students to interactively learn theory and management practice in different forest types in the tropics/sub-tropics. The objective is to develope a virtual course for Forest Management Planning (FMP) for the Tropics.
