Interim review: The (no longer entirely) new certificate “Social Media Praxis”
The new ISL certificate entitled “Reflective Social Media Practice: Basics, Application, Reflection” started in the winter semester 2021-2022. It combines already existing ISL offers, supplemented by the offers of the Intercultural Learning Lab and ZESS. With the certificate, ISL responds to the fact that social media (writing) competence is required in more and more academic professions. Graduates of the certificate should be able to use social media channels with confidence, as well as reflect them critically. All information about the certificate can be found here.The interest in the certificate has been high among students so far; some of the workshops even have waiting lists – however, it is still necessary to wait for the first graduates, since taking all modules usually takes several semesters.
