AT ARRIVAL

It is best to fly to either Hamburg or Frankfurt international airport and take a fast train (called ICE – InterCity Express) from the long distance train station (fernbahnof) directly to Goettingen main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Train tickets can be purchased at the counters or at the ticket vending machines at the Reisezentrum (Travel office) located at the arrival terminal of the airport.
