Career
After completing my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, I continued my studies in Göttingen, where I completed a master’s degree in “Geography: Resource Analysis and Management.” In my master’s thesis, I examined (post-)colonial narratives in a documentary TV format, focusing in particular on media representations of global inequalities.
Additionally, I enjoy working hands-on with media and journalistic formats, particularly video formats. My special interest lies in the intersection of media work, social power relations, and human geographical perspectives.
I have been working in the Department of Human Geography since 2024, initially as a student assistant and, since June 2026, as a research assistant.
