Eduroam
Education Roaming (eduroam) is an international initiative of universities that enables students and scientists to use WLAN easily and free of charge at all participating universities worldwide. The accounts of the GWDG, the employees and students of the University of Göttingen, the University Medical Center Göttingen UMG and many Max Planck Institutes are eduroam-enabled. Eduroam uses an encrypted WLAN connection.
ASSISTENT
The GWDG strongly recommends setting up eduroam with the configuration wizard (CAT-Tool) https://cat.eduroam.org// and not using the automatisms of the respective device. The CAT tool is provided by the GÉANT Association, to which the DFN Association also belongs. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, iOS and Android.
