Climate change effect on wheat phenology depends on cultivar change
March 20th, 2018: In an article published today in Scientific Reports scientists from the Division Agronomy show that climate change and plant breeding contribute similar to earlier flowering of winter wheat in Germany.
Author Ehsan Esyhi Rezaei in front of the winter wheat cultivar experiment near Bonn in which cultivars released in the last 60 years have been grown side by side.
