Yin, Haifeng

I am a PhD candidate majoring in forest ecology from College of Forestry, Sichuan Agricultural University (SICAU), China. Currently, I am a visiting PhD student in the AG Scheu sponsored by China Scholarship Council (CSC) from February 2021 to March 2022.
My main research focuses on soil nematodes, forest ecology and forest management. My PhD project is titled ”Effects of forest gaps on root decomposition, soil nematodes, and soil microbes in Pinus massoniana plantations” During my stay in Göttingen we used compound-specific isotope analysis of amino acids to explore trophic interactions of soil nematodes in forests of different age.
