My current research focuses on forest vegetation restoration in karst ecosystems. I am particularly interested in the physiological and ecological adaptation of karst-adapted vegetation and the key belowground processes that drive forest recovery, including root–soil–microbe interactions, the regulation of nutrient limitation, and plant responses to abiotic stresses such as drought and salinity.
